USMC License OFP-Based Training Tool
Operation Flashpoint developers Bohemia Interactive has sent out a press release announcing that the United States Marine Corps has bought a license for Virtual Battlespace 1, a training tool based on Bohemia's first game Operation: Flashpoint. The license provides an unlimited number of VBS1 and VBS2 licenses to the Marines for use in tactical training, mission rehearsal and experimentation.

The press release also said that the USMC is working with Bohemia on the upcoming Virtual Battlespace 2, which is likely based on Bohemia's upcoming title Armed Assault.

Thats good news for BIS - USMC contracts usually means BIG DOLLARS, and dollars to BIS may mean better games for us. Full release here

Check out this VBS 2 screenshots - looking sweet!
