Dear Grognard_FrancisI,
i'm afraid that if all your members would have been so wise, rational and polite as you showed in your post, this discussion hadn't been started at all. But what you wrote on your site shows you share the same attitude of some of your clan members. What we really found childish was the behavior of some of your friends (Articho above all) who showed little respect for our culture and language to the point of swearing sometimes against cattolic religion (which I believe should be respected even in France as well). This could not be tolerated and when paired with wierd behaviours on the battlefield (8/9 cavalry, only guard unit...) brought your members to be seen as "un-welcome" by our community.

I'm not a teenager looking for frustrated people to argue with on a lonely evening on TW server. I'm an adult who likes to spend some time with a game depicting the warfare of a period which I've been studying since childhood and by which I've always been attracted.

This not implies I've to stand for immature people seeking to boost their childish ego showing the 3-4 bad words they learnt during their last vacation.

I repeat. This has little to do with battlefield choice, with cannister or no fire in melee. This has to to with politeness.

Some months ago I started a discussion on LORDZ site kindly asking to give up this behaviour but I only got answers by english players and never an excuse by a Grognard. Furthermore from time to time your language performances started again.

I just hope you will show more respect in the future than what you showed with pictures and comments on your site. Of course this is not valid for you all, I've always found Christ2burd a correct and enjoyable player.

I've never ever had a joke or a swear by an english or dutch or spanish or greek or what-ever-you-like player. Just ask you why?
And if you complain of bad behaviors or insults given by italian guys on other servers this is not to be seen as an excuse. What happens on RTW or MTW2 does not concern me at all.

What is it the problem ? All the armies can be defeated . is not impossible , after a lot of battle is not authorized to used a strange or special army for the fun ?

Articho, if you call humour repeating the same litany of stupid words which you apparently ignore the meaning of some, I'm missing something here. The choice of spam armies is obiosly secondary to the matter. I can cope with strange armies, I cannot with stupidity.
Start play your usual show in english and look at KO's answers...
You'll realize this is not a question of irony but of common sense.

My children sometimes start to say "cacca, tette or culo" waiting for us to laugh like mad and they are disappointed when we look at them with desolation. Do you really like to know their age...?

You are treating us with the most disrespect you can when you assimilate us to children.

WHAT I wrote on my side has nothing to do with hatred, misrespect or something else. It is just humour.

If we can't have fun about you as Italians, Then you are just the same as those Islamists who send death messages to our newspapers when they laugh at their Religion. This is worst than disrespect.

I think we all should remember we are HUMANS before being Italians and French.

Some of our players might have had a bad behaviour. But not the Grognards as a whole. So I would be glad that all this stop once for all. I don't want to be discriminated.

This is just ridiculous.
Yesterday I was spammed by an Italian guy on Lobby who kept saying "Ciasononnatale" for 20 minutes while I was trying to talk with [NTW]Gunner24.
Should I create a post on the french total war forum then ?

Your clan members did not show respect for us italian both in lobby and in your forum and now you come here begging for excuses pretending everybody makes silence.
This was an old post you contributed to renew. When we suffered those childish behaviours by Articho, Liberalis and could be Ketch (cannot remember for sure) we agree to simply ignore those by not answering and by not partecipating in their games.
I just made an excemption for Christ2burd who always behaved fair and polite. I don't play with people who offend my language, my religion and my nation treating us like some characters of a '50's movie of Alberto Sordi.

If you're offended cause I called Articho child make him behave like an adult and everything will be fine. But your answer make me think that you approuve his behaviour and that sounds strange.

I don't post in a forum when my son talks like Articho usually does simply because he's 4 years old. Is this hard to understand?
I dont'really think so. Is that hard to understand that we expect a different attitude by a 21 years old? I'm not talking about one unlucky night when he was drunk, but many different times.

NTW2 community is a fairly little one. We all know each other and this was the reason why I posted in Lordz site asking to stop this behavior who sounded offensive to say the least.
I was not the only one to see that way, almost every italian in lobby agreed and were annoyed. I know there are lots of stupid italians or french or whatever spamming chats and the like. I just don't like them in NTW2 lobby.

Follow my suggestion, for the next 3 or 4 nights go in lobby and start writing down all your jokes about english people or spanish people. You'll find how many friends and respectful people you have after that.

Tell me what you did not understand of the above message: it sounds pretty clear to me, my english is far from being decent, but I'm afraid you're the blind who doesn't want to see. Je peux bien ecrire en francaise, mais l'anglais est la langue la plus connue par tout le monde.

My last post on this subject, if you like to carry on with your childish offenses you're free to do that. Don't expect my respect for your unwanted irony.
